That is what they are saying now. That 8 glasses of water does absolutely no good. Never did do it and never did believe it. I am VERY healthy.

It is as stupid as saying that everyone shouldl eat 4 pounds a day of food. Some adults weigh 95 lbs and some weight 250. It is much better for health and being thin to EAT your water rather than drink it.
Also salt is unheathy and makes you fat. It is anti-water. It makes water not work. So the more salt you eat, the more water you need. Eat 2 ounces of salt now and you will need to drink over a gallon of water immediately.
Keeping this in mind if you do not drink enough fluids (could be green tea which is 99.9% water), YOU WILL DIE. If you drink too much fluid, YOU WILL DIE. Eat only 1 ounce of food daily and you will die. Eat 30 pounds of food daily and you will die.

It does make your system work better because it will not get dehydraded and it makes you feel fuller so you are likely to eat less but that is about it.

Hi David
Yes, it has shown that there is reduced risk of production of bladder stones in people with reduced urine flow. So yes it is good for you, also your body is a high proportion of water, so it is essential to good health.
Keep drinking it.
